Mahindra Imperio has been recalled due to its faulty rear axle. 300 units of the pickup truck have been recalled to rectify the rear axle of the vehicle. The Indian UV maker has recalled the units that have been manufactured between April 2018 and June 2018. Mahindra will be contacting the owners directly to carry out the inspection.

Mahindra Imperio customers can also check if their vehicle is affected in this recall from the official website of the company. After the inspection of the vehicle, if any rectification is required, the carmaker will do it free of cost. The Mahindra Imperio is a commercial pickup truck which has been made on the Mahindra Xylo platform.

This recall of the Imperio is in line with SIAM’s voluntary code of vehicle recall. The Mahindra Imperio is available in both double cab and single cab versions. It is powered by a 2.5-litre diesel engine that produces a maximum power output of 75 BHP with a peak torque of 220 Nm, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
